Welcome

A blog of my own… it’s a bit odd for me to write a blog as I enjoy reading other peoples blogs as if it were a religious experience.  I have my morning routine and my favorite blogs are included in that routine.  My best friend Leah is the writer and I am the one who encourages her to write more.  I love how she writes and what she writes and so for me to be doing the writing is a whole different thing.   I am also rather like a wallflower, I’ll stick to the walls rather than have the attention on me, my son Matthew is much the same but my daughter, Tessa the polar opposite.  In fact, when her and I go out she loves to try and bring on the attention by doing the strangest things, like have a Britney moment and talk with a British accent or something. That said, it does not mean I shy away from a challenge, and this is a challenge but I will succeed and likely become addicted to blogging as I learn to maneuver my way through.

There are two things I do that are truly mine, my runs and the making of my books.  Running stimulates my creativity as my thoughts can truly flow free without interruptions.  Sometimes my runs can’t finish fast enough so I can get home and either write down what I thought of or, if I have the time, just start on a cover.

I am a lucky woman.  I live in a beautiful place, I have the privilege to be able to stay at home with my kids and be involved with their lives as well as enjoy my passions.  Thanks goes to Bill who works hard,  long hours in the film industry and misses out on a lot of the theatrical events in our lives.  Don’t feel too badly for him though…he eats like a bloody king off that catering truck and doesn’t hesitate to email me photos when he can….and we can’t forget about the chocolate and endless coffee he gets too!!

Well done, Kath. You’ve taken the hardest step in blogging, I suspect … getting the first one done and out there. I’ll have to add your blog to my morning routine (when I get one – LOL!). Awesome job on the site – it looks great and your books are fantastic!

I so enjoy your journaling as it were. One of my favs now – Pam and Linda Woods are up there too. So sad about your kitty – they are so soft and both cuddly and at the same time amazingly independent. Missing mine too.

i am still planning on a special journal that you have made for my granddaughter – still thinking and i trust it will come to me soon… thanks for being around and so creative.

Will be in touch soon. Stay safe and well. blessings…Palestar
